Last May, the sludge removal and dewatering works began using Geotube® units from the settling pond of the Almeirim unit, of Sumol + Compal.
Once again, Ambitrevo uses its know-how and experience, combined with its technical units of polymer preparation and water recovery, which translates into an environmental solution with very positive effects.
The effectiveness of this technology and of the entire process is once again proven with the continuous monitoring of the entire system, as well as the obtaining of a permeate of the transparent Geotube® units.
Ambitrevo also estimates that in about 4 weeks close to 1,000m3 of sludge have already been dewatered, that is, half of the total expected volume.
