With an area of more than 38000m2, the discharge , storage and composting of waste is carried out here, divided into the following zones:

- Weighing, Control and Administrative;
- Technical Unit;
- Bulk Waste Storage Unit (Silos);
- Packaged Waste Unit;
- Green Waste Storage Area;
- Pond;
- Transformer Station, Photovoltaic Power Plant Control and QGBT;
- Homegenization, cell formation and circulation;
- Production Unit (Composting Lanes);
- Fresh Compost Collection and Circulation Area;
- Screening and Maturation Unit;
- Compound customization unit;
- Pelletizing unit;
- Packaging;
- Ready-to-Eat Compost Processing and Storage Unit.
CIVO has undergone significant expansion works with a strong focus on energy efficiency, focusing on sustainable production and consumption models. The installation of electric machines was favoured to the detriment of combustion equipment, thus reducing CO2 emissions.
The unit has invested heavily in automation and centralised control technology, and a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption has also been installed, thus contributing to the energy transition and sustainability.
